Redneck Ghost Hunters Episode 1

Help Support Andrew Rose run for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

I am running a half marathon in December in the Dallas White Rock Marathon as part of Team in Training for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to raise money for blood cancers treatment and research.

My great-nephew Mavrick Veal was diagnosed in October 2010 with two forms of leukemia. He underwent chemo and radiation for months, lost both of his kidneys function and was put on dialysis, and got a bone marrow transplant that rejected and on June 12th, 2011 he passed away. He was only six. It hit the family incredibly hard, as you can imagine, and so I decided that I needed to do something. And raising funds for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society seemed like it. So here I am training to run 13 miles. I've never run any event of any distance before so it seems insane that I'd be doing this but no more insane than a six year old boy dieing of cancer.

So, I run in his memory. Additionally, a dear old friend of mine is undergoing treatment for leukemia, yet the weekend before Mavrick died, Beatriz ran a half marathon in his honor in San Diego and raised over $3500 for Leukemia and Lymphoma research. She's a living hero in my eyes.

To run the marathon I have to raise a minimum of $1500. I sincerely hope to raise much more than the minimum of course.

Andrew Rose is a good friend of the Fearcast Network and has supported Indie Films now he needs our support.

For Donations Please click on the link below

  • A donation of $50 makes possible a Family Support group with a trained facilitator where comfort can be found and experiences can be shared among patients and family members.
  • A donation of $100 helps supply laboratory researchers with supplies and materials critical to carrying out their search for cures.
  • A donation of $1,000 makes possible one- on-one conversations with health care specialists who provide patients with information about their disease, treatment options, and helps prepare them with questions for their health care team.

Screaming in High Heels: Rise & Fall of the Scream Queen Era

A passion project for nearly a decade, this documentary gathers B-grade horror film actresses Linnea Quigley (Return of the Living Dead), Brinke Stevens (The Slumber Party Massacre) and Michelle Bauer (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers) to tell the story of how they all "accidentally" became cult icons of the late 1980s. Follow the ladies and their fellow directors and cast mates through the major direct-to-video boom which had them filming upwards of ten films per year, fighting off men in rubber monster suits, pubescent teenage boys and deadly showers. They were flown all over the world, dined with President Reagan and built profitable mini-empires from their fame by exploiting the industry which exploited them. Then it all came crashing down.

Having received little respect at the time, and today their importance & substantial contributions to the horror film industry mostly forgotten (sometimes deliberately), this documentary will bring an educational, fun and positive aspect to express how smart these three women were to play stupid.

Dyer Straits Productions (DSP) presents year two of St. Louis’ only pop-culture, horror and sci-fi convention on June 24-26, 2011.  Contamination 2011: The Sequel takes place at the Sheraton Chalet in Westport Plaza and is bigger and better with celebrities, film icons, TV stars, sports figures, models/Playmates, filmmakers and musicians.  Eric Roberts and “The Boondock Saints” Sean Patrick Flanery, Norman Reedus and David Dela Rocco are headlining the event along with an impressive lineup of icons at this highly anticipated follow-up event.
