Andy LaPlegua, (born Ole Anders Olsen) born September 15, 1975 in Fredrikstad, Norway, is a musician originally known for being founder and lead vocalist of the futurepop band Icon of Coil. LaPlegua also gained fame in the aggrotech and electro-industrial scenes as founder and lead vocalist of Combichrist and Panzer AG.
Both Icon of Coil and Combichrist have topped the Deutsche Alternative Charts.
Originally a part of several scenes in Norway, LaPlegua experimented with hip-hop in the Detroit Techno/Old School band LAW, industrial in Devils Into Crime (DIC), punk in My Right Choice(MRC)/Fleshfire and metal in Lash Out. He also found interest in trance and club music making his mark on the scene with his involvement in the bands Plastic Life and Sector9.
Early on he was the vocalist in Fredrikstad based hardcore/metal band My Right Choice - who released an EP under the project name Fleshfire, as well as stand-in (and later permanent) vocalist for Lash Out. Icon of Coil was formed as a solo project in 1997. After becoming very enthusiastic about the music and its possibilities, Andy LaPlegua invited a former bandmate of his, Sebastian Komor to join Icon of Coil to perform live. After several public performances and the release of "Shallow Nation", IoC's first album, Komor joined the band full-time.
Combichrist was officially launched in 2003. It was created as a more aggressive alternative to Icon of Coil. Panzer AG was officially launched in 2004. LaPlegua combined the danceability of Icon of Coil and the hard-hitting beats of Combichrist when he created Panzer AG. His fourth, most techno-oriented project, is (DJ) Scandy. His new project is Scandinavian Cock, a Rockabilly/Psychobilly act.

Today VCI announced on their Facebook page that they have released the film D4 for world wide sales! If you havent seen D4 yet I highly urge you to check it out. This film stars Eric Berner, Jaimee Gray Simon, Clay Brocker, Darrin Dickerson, and Jeff Hime. It's also written and directed by Darrin Dickerson. Here'sa brief synopsys from VCI's page:
Abandoned for more than 30 years, "D4" remains the focus of conspiracy theorists. A wealthy doctor who believes her kidnapped son is being held somewhere in the long deserted government acreage spares no expense securing a team of ex-military guns-for-hire to search him out. But once inside, they discover there is someone, or something, still inhabiting "D4". Things are not what they seem, and what was meant to be a simple search and rescue soon turns into a fight for survival, a fight they will most likely not survive.
I absolutely love this film, and am really excited to see it go world wide. Below is the trailer, poster, and an interview that we did with Darrin Dickerson way back in 2011 at Con-Tamination!
If you would like to get a copy of D4, go here: http://www.vcientertainment.com/index.php?route=product/product&filter_name=D4&product_id=786&path=59
Now on with the show!
This project has been a labor of love for multiple Steampunk gamers! The desire for a fun Steampunk themed card game based around the imaginative ideas and concepts of the Steampunk Multiverse! After extensive design and play-testing we are excited to have the support of the nationally recognized Airship Isabella for this project and have based our first exciting set around their characters and adventures! The game is designed for 4-6 players played in a round the table fashion. An average game of Twisted Skies takes an hour and a half. Each basic set of Twisted Skies includes:
160 game cards, Full Instructions, One 6 sided dice.
As the design, artwork, and layout of the game is accomplished this Kickstarter is designed in the hope of having the product printed, boxed and made available to the gaming public at large. Professional grade photography and illustration from some of Steampunk's most talented rising stars have made for a great looking game. Working with local game stores and distributors we'll be placing this product in your friendly neighborhood game store!

IN THE LAVENDER, is a story that has something for everyone. Whether you are into Steampunk, zombies, pirates, or the post apocalyptic setting, or even if you love action and adventure, this graphic novel has it all. It is horror, action, comedy and drama all rolled into one! The story follows a group of heros aboard their flying steamship after they have stumbled across some technology that far surpasses the steampunk world they live in. The heros believe this new found technology could be a weapon capable of destroying the evil corporation that currently rules the entire planet and its resources. So, they set out to take them down. However, this newly found technology is in the form of a reanimated brain, fitted into a steampunk/cyber mechanical body. All hell breaks loose once everyone else finds out about this "discovered technology." Everyone from pirates to underground machine cultists want it for themselves. Suddenly, the crew finds themselves in a very complicated situation.
IN THE LAVENDER is a very well thought out and indepth story. It has a lot of very intricate plot lines, and story twists and turns that will keep you guessing and wanting more! The main story though is about the steampunk zombie and how he is a regular guy from the year 2015 ish and his personal struggles in life. He deals with the same things we all deal with: trying to discover his place in the world, trying to fit in, while facing his own inner demons as well as dealing with misplaced trust and a slew of other problems we all have in life. This isn't a story about the world of tomorrow, or zombies, or robots. It is a story about you, me, the human condition and how we all are as people. Just so happens the future is filled with awesome explosions, flying ships, massive mechanical cities, hordes of zombies, and a pile of steam ran everything!!! Welcome to the world of IN THE LAVENDER!
The title In the Lavender comes from a victorian slang term meaning "dead." The story was written by myself (Eric Xton) and co written by my wife April. Most of the art is done by me, but, there will be many amazing guest artists from around the world helping out, like Josh Falls, Lidia Misfit, Travis Sharpe and colour work by Ryan Mihandoost of Colossal Robot . All very talented artists! Also, I will be updating this campaign regularly to keep everyone up to date. Please bear with me, as I am new at this fund raising for projects thing lol. Thank you for your interest!

Greatings Fearcasters, D here with one of the strangest events that we have ever experienced. During last month Fearcast took a trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras to help out our good friends Airship Isabella in the St Anns Parade. When we arrived we did a quick show announcing our arrival to NOLA and to chat with the ASI crew before we hit the streets to cause Havoc.
Pic of the cast and crew from the parade.
While we did the show we described the events that would lead up to the parade and a discussion of the 200 year old funeral carriage that would be pulled by a hoard of zombies down the streets of NOLA durring Mardi Gras. During the interview we were informed of some strange voices andd interference we got during the broadcast. Later we downloaded the interview and listened for ourselves amazed at what we heard Fearcast turned it over to the Oklahoma Ghost Chasers to review the episode and give us an opinion on what the mysterious sounds caught during our live episode were.
Thank you for allowing me the time to listen to this. Here is a clip...it's a definite Class A EVP and you can hear "Get Out" six seconds in.
Here is the epidose in its entirety take a listen and you be the judge. Feel free to comment and tell us what you hear.
We would like to thank ASI for having us to New Orleans and all the amazing people we met along the way. Please swing by and show ASI some love and tell them FCN sent ya.
