Let's Review CHOP!!!!!!

What's up my friends? It is the KillSawKing and I'm coming back at ya with a grand dose of revenge and dismemberment in Trent Hagga's torture porn - soon to live up to cult status great - CHOP.

First off, let's start of with the synopsis of this zany gorefest. Lance, our story's main character, is having a bad day. While driving to his destination on a seemingly harmless empty stretch of road, his car breaks down. His luck changes, however, when he is picked up by a motorist looking to help out. Only his luck doesn't change for the better - things definitely get worse. After a little uneasy conversing with the stranger we find out he has a past with our good friend Lance. Now with Lance kidnapped the stranger gives him a choice: murder his brother and live with it for the rest of his life, or the stranger will harm his beautiful wife. After a little pushing Lance commits the crime and is blackmailed into concealing it. We all know blackmails never go like we planned. So not to give any more of this fantastic venture away, I will only say what follows is a crazy revenge flick with great characters, tense moments, and killer gore to spare.

My personal feelings towards Chop are all rather positive. I liked the subtle set up and the zany (at times) cartoonish follow through. It really felt like the director never held back in this film and everyone enjoyed being a part of it. I thought the tense moments of the police trying figure out Lance's crime were incredible, and paired with Lance's ghoulish recollections of his evil deeds prior to meeting the stranger, made the film flow quite well.  The characters were all pretty good and for the most part played really well. We get Paranoid Lance, one crazy murderous stranger, one-legged bikers and their evil psychotic friends who love chapstick, hot lesbian hookers, and many more. All in all the bottom line is, if you like crazy torture porn flicks with funny, well-acted characters and really talented directing... you need to see this.

Killsaw gives this indie horror treat a 4 out of 5 sictastic stars. (that's right, not regular stars... sicktastic ones)
